Each morning, breakfast is prepared by hand by Maria and the team and delivered to your terrace at the time you choose. There are no set schedules and no buffet, just a relaxed start to the day shaped around your own pace. Dishes change daily, guided by the season and what feels right that morning, and are meant to be enjoyed slowly, with the view, the breeze and the quiet stillness of the island. It’s enjoyed outdoors, at your own pace, with nothing else scheduled for the morning.

Pentanemi is set in quiet, open landscape just outside Ano Meria, where Folegandros feels at its most spacious and unhurried. Surrounded by the island’s natural forms and long views, it offers a sense of privacy and ease, while remaining only a short drive from the Chora. Thoughtfully created as a place to settle in rather than pass through, Pentanemi invites guests to slow down and experience the island in a way that feels both personal and refined.
Our Suites
Pentanemi is home to just five suites, each designed to feel like a private place to live rather than simply somewhere to sleep. Oriented south towards Crete, the suites enjoy long, open views across the surrounding landscape, bringing a strong sense of space, light and quiet.
Each suite is arranged with ease and comfort in mind, encouraging guests to settle in and slow down. Generous terraces extend the living space outdoors, furnished simply with tables, chairs and loungers, where hours can pass effortlessly, from morning through to evening. Two suites feature private plunge pools, while all guests share access to a calm infinity pool set into the landscape, always with the horizon in view.

Our Philosophy
The name Pentanemi comes from the Greek words pente (five) and anemi (winds), a reference to the shifting winds that move across Folegandros and shape both the land and daily life on the island.
From the outset, our intention was not to create something showy, but something considered and enduring. With just five suites, Pentanemi is intentionally small, allowing space, privacy and calm to take precedence. Every choice is guided by the idea of slowing the pace, leaving time unstructured, and letting the island set the rhythm.
Our philosophy is rooted in authenticity, elegance, and simplicity, reflecting the essence of Folegandros itself.
Our Location
Pentanemi is set just outside the village of Ano Meria, in one of the island’s most open and quietly positioned areas. The setting feels removed and calm, yet remains only a short drive from the Chora, where Folegandros gathers in the evenings around food, conversation and a relaxed social rhythm.

Days unfold naturally, whether spent at the property or exploring the island, with no sense of pressure to plan or rush.
